Since 1999, Loyd & Townsend Rose has been offering privileged access to the finest private estates in England, Scotland & Ireland. Loyd & Townsend Rose was the brainchild of Jonathan Townsend-Rose, for whom the concept of making better commercial use of some of the larger houses and castles in Scotland, in his role as adviser to the owners, was becoming a priority. At the time of this discovery, Andrew Loyd had just returned to Scotland, where Jonathan resides, from the USA, where he had been managing the estates of a number of prominent American families, and it was immediately clear that they shared a passion for beautiful properties. They were also in possession of a very complementary set of skills. And so Loyd & Townsend-Rose was founded, nearly 20 years ago!

LTR is a carefully curated portfolio of castles, villas, manors, and mansions available for private vacation rentals, combined with a full concierge service. Working closely with its small and scrupulously selected collection of homes, all are located in the most beautiful areas of the United Kingdom and Ireland, and most are surrounded by large family-owned estates, therefore offering total privacy. Loyd & Townsend Rose always has been and intends to remain, a small specialist rental agency which stays totally focused on the UK and Irish luxury vacation rental market, and which has won plaudits for the level of service it offers.
