Vatuvara Private Islands (VPI) offers conscientious luxury to the discerning traveller. An exclusive experience in the Northern Lau Group of Fiji, it has been described by Forbes Magazine as “one of the world’s most beautiful places.” Kaibu Island is home to the Vatuvara Private Islands Resort, with three all-inclusive private villas on 324 HA (800 acres).

The three expansive but completely secluded seaside villas have been meticulously crafted with natural materials and textures creating comfortably elegant and spacious environments. Each with their own private beach access, the villas include an infinity edge pool surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and an abundance of aromatic flowers. Multiple shaded seating on the extensive decks provides tempting areas to relax and enjoy extraordinary views of neighbouring islands beyond the azure waters of the lagoon. A stay in any one of these villas includes your personal masseuse. Saku Villa and Vatu Villa each have a private massage bure on their decks, while Delana Villa has a dedicated massage room and boasts an additional Jacuzzi bath.

The interior of each villa is the epitome of opulent South Sea comfort. Featuring one bedroom with extra-large king bed, ensuite, and a generous bath with both indoor and outdoor showers, lounge with plush leather seating and flat-screen satellite television, marble counter topped kitchen with your personal stocked bar and wine selection, surround-sound stereo and Wi-Fi throughout.

Dine in the two seaside full-service restaurants, where meals are created for you with the freshest ingredients direct from the islands certified organic farms or fished from the surrounding ocean waters and delivered to your table.

Island guests enjoy the diverse water and land activities including a 4-hole organic certified golf course and putting green.

The marina is prepared for ocean activity, with three boats always on the ready. Fishing, diving, scuba and snorkelling equipment are all on hand for guest use. Also on offer is scuba diving training for open water certification. Guests enjoy being whisked away to a nearby uninhabited palm-fringed island for their own private champagne picnic.

An excursion to the neighbouring island, Vatuvara, promises the magic of an untouched and uninhabited ancient volcanic island, a true South Pacific paradise teeming with bird and marine life. Soaring limestone cliffs covered with dense tropical jungle and white sand beaches enhance the drama. Your footprints are sure to be the only ones you see.

Vatuvara Private Islands accepts its responsibility as stewards of the natural environment and has joined together with the Vatuvara Foundation in protecting the marine life with ridge-to-reef conservation.
